The Player’s Club League Play System
The League
The Player’s Club is a handicapped stroke play league system, where players battle each season to become the King of the Club. Each week, players will play a standardized 18-hole match and be awarded points based on weekly scores, similar to PGA point rankings.
Playing
All rounds will be adjusted to account for each player’s handicap that week. At the end of each week, all participating players will have an adjustment to their handicap, preparing it to be used for the next week.
Each player is allowed to play the weekly course challenge only one time, and can submit their individual scorecards to the scorecard box. All rounds must be proctored by another member or staff member of the club. Mulligans will only be permitted on misreads and must be approved by another party.
Scoring
The King of the Club will be the player who earned the most amount of points within a given season. At the end of the four seasons, a Grand Champion of the Player’s Cup will be crowned for that year.
Players will be ranked out of everyone who participated that week, based on their adjusted scores. A total of 300 points will be awarded in descending order to the players ranked each week. Players can earn additional points by playing their round during League Bonus days.
Schedule
The calendar year is divided into four seasons, season one begins in January and season four ends in December. Each season is made up of 13 weeks, running from Monday to Sunday. The course and conditions are announced at the beginning of each week.
At the end of a season, the two worst scores posted by each player will be dropped from their total handicap calculation. A player’s scores can only be dropped if they were active during that given season.
